Americana Restaurants Egypt has announced its strategic partnership with the Egyptian Food Bank to launch a Ramadan initiative aimed at providing thousands of meals and food support to underprivileged families. As part of this initiative, a Ramadan tent has been set up in Al Warraq area, offering daily Iftar and Suhoor meals to thousands of beneficiaries throughout the holy month. This collaboration is a testament to the company’s dedication to impactful contributions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to eradicating hunger and fostering culture of generosity and social cohesion—values that have been at the core of Americana’s legacy for over 55 years.
As part of this initiative, Americana Restaurants Egypt employees and their families will engage in a meaningful volunteer experience, preparing meals and organizing Ramadan banquets to foster a deeper sense of giving and social responsibility. Building on this commitment, Americana Restaurants is also expanding the initiative to other governorates, ensuring that even more deserving families receive the support they need, reinforcing the values of compassion and solidarity that define Ramadan.
Beyond the Ramadan tent, Americana Restaurants is also providing extra meals from its iconic brands—KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardee’s, and Krispy Kreme—in collaboration with the Egyptian Food Bank to ensure offering diversified meals that meet the needs of beneficiaries. This step enhances the impact of the initiative, ensuring high-quality meals for those in need.
