Cairo 3A First to Export Soy Pro to GCC Markets

Cairo 3A Group – including the National Company for Corn Products, Egyptian Starch and Glucose Manufacturing Company, and Al Ahram Poultry – has achieved a significant milestone by penetrating GCC markets through the export of its high-energy soybean meal product, Soy Pro. This marks Egypt’s first-ever export of this product, which has now been officially registered in the Gulf region in accordance with Cairo 3A’s stringent quality and technical standards. Mr. Alaa El-Gamil, Vice President of Industrial Affairs at Cairo 3A Group, expressed his pride in the achievement, “We are proud of the success of our animal nutrition sector in launching Soy Pro, a premium-quality soybean meal product, and exporting it to one of the largest integrated entities in the Gulf. We’ve delivered competitive pricing while meeting market demands, and the product has now been officially registered in Saudi Arabia according to our own technical specifications and standards.”
El-Gamil noted that Soy Pro was exported to one of the region’s largest multinational companies and that the group plans to expand into more international markets following the product’s strong performance in Egypt. This move aligns with the group’s strategy to double its exports, contribute to national GDP growth, and support the influx of foreign currency into the country.
He also highlighted that Cairo 3A currently exports its products to over 60 countries across North Africa and the GCC, with further export expansion planned in the coming period.
Dr. Mohamed Azzam, Cairo 3A’s CCO of Animal Nutrition, explained that Soy Pro is a high-quality, high-fat soybean meal containing a minimum of 42% protein and delivering a substantial energy value of 3,265 kcal per serving. It is manufactured using a dry extrusion process that ensures maximum availability of amino acids and protein, delivering exceptional performance in animal feed.
He added that Soy Pro features low moisture and antioxidant content (including lecithin and tocopherol), making it easier to handle and reducing storage loss. The product also contains over 58% bypass protein, providing ideal nutritional value for high-producing dairy cows without any adverse dietary effects.
All of this is accomplished at the region’s largest facility of its kind, operated by some of Egypt’s most skilled professionals.
