ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC Inks Deal with German Motors Company VEM to Become Authorized Motors Service Partner

Cairo, June 11, 2024 – ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC (EE), a leading provider of integrated energy, infrastructure, and digital solutions, has signed a cooperation protocol with VEM, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of electric motors. This accord designates ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC as an authorized partner for all maintenance of VEM motors and generators through its Motors and Generators Service Center in the 10th of Ramadan City, one of the region’s largest facilities. Under the agreement, ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC will provide authorized maintenance, repair, and renovation services for VEM’s machinery and equipment in Egypt.
The signing ceremony at ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC’s headquarters featured a delegation from VEM. Notable attendees included Eng. Abdelrahman Elsewedy, Vice President of ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC for Electrical Products, and Eng. Amr AbdelKader, Motion Appliances Business Unit Director, along with several senior officials from ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC.

It is worth noting that ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC previously signed an agreement with Wolong Electric, a leading global motor manufacturer, to supply high-quality electric motors to the Egyptian market. These motors, meeting IEC and NEMA standards, are intended for various industries, from home appliances and electric cars to medium voltage motors used in heavy industries. The agreement also includes establishing one of the region’s largest maintenance centers, equipped with cranes up to 50 tons and the latest motor rehabilitation technologies.
